Yesterday, August 16, our family went to watch the Lansing Lugnuts baseball game (minor league). The game was great as the Lugnuts won 4-0. Our church (Crossroads Church of God) had a group to go to the game... our third year doing so.
It was hot and humid but there was a nice breeze that kept things bearable. The kids (including Mom) had a great time.
After the game there was a Christian concert. Phil Stacey (former American Idol contestant) performed. He has a new album releasing next week with Sony's Christian label. There's a picture of the concert... Phil is the little guy in the middle (sorry, no zoom on the iPhone). There were a lot more people present than the picture shows... we sat on the far left side.
